STEXEROL-D3

Stexerol-D3 is indicated in adults, the elderly and adolescents for prevention and treatment of vitamin D deficiency, or as an adjunct to specific therapy for osteoporosis in patients with vitamin D deficiency or at risk of vitamin D insufficiency.1

High and low dose vitamin D3 tablets

Stexerol-D3 is available at both high 25,000 IU and low 1,000 IU doses, allowing for continuity of treatment with both loading and maintenance regimes.1 A flexible treatment regime can be tailored to a particular patient’s needs or to meet the dosing guideline requirements.2

Licensed treatment

Stexerol-D3 is a licensed vitamin D treatment. Licensing provides assurance of consistency, efficacy and quality. General Medical Council (GMC) guidance states there is an increased responsibility when prescribing unlicensed medications when licensed are available.3

Unlicensed products:

  • May have a variable content.
  • May not have medical information or pharmacovigilance support.
  • Are not produced to the same manufacturing standards required for licensed medicines.

Gelatin-free / suitable for vegetarians

Stexerol-D3 is gelatin-free, meaning it is suitable for patients who follow vegetarian diets.1
