A Prospective, Real-World, Multinational Study of Naloxegol for Patients with Cancer Pain Diagnosed with Opioid-Induced Constipation — The NACASY Study: Davies A, Cinieri S, Dupoiron D, España Fernandez S, Leclerc J, Montesarchio V, et al. Cancers. 2022;14(5):1128

Multinational, 26 centre, prospective, real-world observational study in 170 adult subjects with OIC, receiving naloxegol in routine clinical practice. Response rates of 72.3% for Moventig treated patients. Patient Assessment of Constipation — Quality of Life Questionnaire total score and all its subscales improved from baseline to 4 weeks. Results were similar to KYONAL and MovE.

A prospective observational study over 12 months of 126 patients. The results of this real-world study showed the sustained efficacy and safety of naloxegol for the treatment of OIC in this group of patients. The primary endpoint was the assessment of the impact of naloxegol in the constipation-related QoL outcome (measured by PAC-QoL). At 12 months, 77.8% of the patients were responders to naloxegol treatment.
